Who is responsible

Luis Grüner, trading as Auvance, Niederwaldplatz 6, 01277 Dresden, Germany. Email: kontakt@auvance.de. Because we are based in the European Union, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to everything we do, also when we write to businesses in the United States.

If you got a postcard or an email from us

We write to trades businesses that have no website on their Google Maps listing and offer them a finished preview of a website. For that we use:

Why and on what basis: to show you a preview of your website and offer you our services. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in direct marketing to businesses (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

You can object at any time (Art. 21 GDPR), free of charge: reply "no" or "unsubscribe" to our email, or write to kontakt@auvance.de. We then stop immediately and delete your data. We only keep your business name, address and email on a do-not-contact list, so that we never write to you again.

How long: each preview is deleted on the date shown on it. Your contact data is deleted six months after our last message, unless you become a customer or object earlier.

Who helps us: Stannp (United Kingdom and United States) prints and mails our postcards. Google Workspace (Google) sends and stores our email. Cloudflare hosts this website. Our server for visitor counting is run by Hetzner in Germany. Where data goes to the United States (Google, Cloudflare), the provider is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or bound by the EU standard contractual clauses.

When you visit this website

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website and in knowing whether our previews are seen (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

If you contact us or become a customer

We use what you send us to answer you and to carry out your order (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see your full card number. Invoices are kept for the period required by German tax law (up to 10 years).

Your rights

You can ask what data we have about you, and have it corrected, deleted, restricted or handed over to you. You can object to its use at any time. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example ours: Sächsischer Datenschutz- und Transparenzbeauftragter, Devrientstraße 5, 01067 Dresden, Germany.
